Gülhane Park is one of the special parks. Because this is the park where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk assumed the title of head teacher and gave the first lecture. Its name comes from the rose gardens of Topkapı Palace. It is also where the Imperial Edict of Reorganizartions was announced in 1839. So many people from of any nature visit here. It is accompanied by influx of tourists. There are always hawkers selling Turkish bagels or corns.

Yıldız Park is a garden of a palace. So it is really gorgeous and peaceful place that you can rest after a busy day. It is also so nostalgic and romantic that couples prefer here to take their wedding photos. Malta Kiosk and Çadır Kiosk are here as well. You can eat and drink something in the complex.
Maçka Democracy Park

Maçka Park was a place which hosted homeless people in 1970. It is told that the kids escaped from Artigiana Poor House lived here. But in 1990s, it was called “Love Park”. It was restored in 1993 and Democracy was added in it. There are two parks for sport equipment, two playgrounds, two coffee houses and a restaurant, an artificial island and nine artificial pools in Maçka Democracy Park now. There is also a telpher line.

Arboretum means botanic garden. Accordingly, it is possible to see different kind of plants and trees. It was created for research purposes. If you go there in the spring, you will discover array of bright colours. This peaceful place saves you from negative feelings. It is far away from the centre, but definitely worth it.

Miniatürk is a model area containing of so many things’ models such as Anıtkabir, Aspendos, Rumelian Castle, Kalender Passenger Ship, Tem High Way, Sümela Monastery and so on. There are also an amphitheatre, a souvenir shop, Türkiye-İstanbul Helicopter Simulation Tool, a playground, a ferry, an excursion train, Miniland Playground and Fairy Tree. It is a cool place you can spend time with your beloved ones.
Polonezköy Natural Park

Bayrampaşa City Park (ParkAda)

This garden is a representation of the bonding between Turks and Japanese people. You can get to know Japanese culture well. When it comes to Japanese culture, the first thing that spring to mind is probably Japanese tea ceremony. So you should go to the tea house after taking part in the ceremony in front of it. There are a waterfall, a natural pond, an island, stone and wooden bridges in the park.
